The GD Energy Products Waterjetting Flexible Lance Safety Guard reduces the danger from a live nozzle (i.e. pressurized) while it is being withdrawn from a tube sheet. This minimizes the risk of operator injury resulting from a live nozzle exiting a tube unexpectedly. The nozzle cannot be pulled out of the Flexible Lance Safety Guard thereby protecting the operator from high-pressure spray.
GD Energy Products also proudly offers several types of StoneAge brand line mole backout preventers, and the new hose catcher flex lance anti-withdrawal device. The line mole backout Preventers are designed specifically to prevent the nozzle from backing out of the pipe as it is being cleaned. Several options are available to assure perfect fit with pipe sizes from 2” to 36” I.D., including jigs, flange bolt circle diameters, and adaptors for flangeless pipes.
The GD Energy Products Tubojet is a vertical hose catcher that allows for ease of maneuverability with the protection of a hose catcher. The flexible lance is inserted from the top and assists in cleaning vertical tube with ease. The Tubojet attaches to the front of the foot while encompassing the waterjet for maximum protection.
The new Hose Catcher anti-withdrawal device for pipe and tube cleaning adapts to both horizontal and vertical heat exchangers and offers a wide range of expansion to accommodate different tube sheet sizes. Different sized collars to accommodate different sizes of flex lance are stored in the extension arm for easy access, and two ergonomic handles lock the unit in place on the bundle sheet. The adapter plate allows the operator to remove the arms so it can be used as a backout preventer for flanged pipes.
